THad a craving for something spicy and soupy and of course Jjampong came to mind when I was thinking of possible foods that can scratch the itch. The dish was made to order and it was still steaming hot when I opened it at home. Portions were very generous with a good amount of everything including noodles, mussels, vegetables and various other seafood pieces. I liked how they didn’t tone down the heat; it’s a similar spice level to jjampongs I’m used to in Korea and it hit the spot for me. But if you’re sensitive to spicy foods I’d recommend asking it to be more mild or opting for the white jjampong instead. Now that I know they do jjampong right, I’ll probably try their jjajangmyeon next time.
